POSITION INFORMATION Position summary: The control desk secretary will establish and maintain effective communication with all levels of associates and physicians. He/she must honor patient confidentiality and ensure compliance with HIPPA. The control desk secretary is responsible for telephone communication to all areas when scheduling cases. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Education: High School GraduateRequired length and type of experience: Medical Terminology required. Surgery/Operating Room desk experience required.
