Job Overview:
Performs a variety of clerical support assignments to enhance the efficient operation of an identified department. These duties include: typing, maintaining electronic appointments, filing, photocopying, faxing, answering the phone, collating, maintaining a supply inventory, taking minutes, data collection and ordering supplies when needed.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or Equivalency One year related clerical experience Computer literate or willing to learn. Able to read, write, speak and understand English sufficiently to perform the duties of the position. Involves close contact with clients who may present as dangerous to self/others/propertyScheduling Requirements:

Performs a wide variety of typing assignments including correspondence, reports, forms, etc. on electronic typewriters and or personal computerMaintains and retrieves program files in an organized fashion. Photocopies documents for program staffIs capable of using fax machines and faxes all required program documents, retrieves faxed materialAnswers the telephone for program staff, takes messages when staff are unavailableResponsible for maintaining all electronic appointment scheduling in on-line programsOpens, sorts, and distributes mail appropriatelyReceives visitors into the program and notifies appropriate staff. Maintains program s supply inventory, orders supplies in a timely fashion, ensures efficient distribution of suppliesPerforms routine data collection, organizes the data and prepares the organized data in report formTakes minutes of meetings when requiredPerforms other related duties as directedBenefits and Perks:
