Job Description A company in the Boulder, CO area is looking for Software Engineers to join their team in support of classified IRAD / R&D programs. The SW Engineer will be responsible for researching and identifying highly complex and multi-faceted problems. Qualified candidates will have experience implementing and managing Agile practices across various programs and products. The RTE/PO will plan, coordinate and lead program increments across multiple IRAD efforts. Responsibilities will also include: - Manage workflows: within teams, between teams, and across work centers using Jira Scrum and Kanban boards - Identify constraints, mitigate dependencies causing bottlenecks, and reduce wait time - Identify opportunities to standardize recurring processes - Drive continuous improvement by enhancing processes, removing impediments, and optimizing value delivery - Schedule and lead program increment (PI) planning and backlog reviews - Facilitate project leads with time phasing milestones and develop/map epics, features, stories to milestones - Creates Confluence and Jira templates for project leads - Create metrics beneficial to managing project progress and identifying efficiencies and inefficiencies This is a contract to hire for a large aerospace and defense technology company in Boulder, CO. Pay Range: $110-206K annually. Exact compensation will vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
