SEC Reporting Analyst
Description Job Title: SEC Reporting Analyst Location: The Woodlands, TX Position Overview: Seeking an SEC Reporting Analyst with at least 2 years of public accounting experience in The Woodlands, TX. This role is critical in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of our financial reporting to the SEC and other stakeholders. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in financial reporting, technical accounting, and a commitment to excellence. SEC Reporting Analyst: + Prepare and file SEC reports, including Forms 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K, ensuring compliance with SEC regulations. + Assist in drafting footnotes, disclosures, and MD& A sections for quarterly and annual filings. + Research and document technical accounting issues, including new accounting pronouncements. + Collaborate with external auditors to support the completion of annual audits and quarterly reviews. + Work closely with internal teams, including finance, legal, and investor relations, to gather required information for filings. + Maintain and enhance internal controls over financial reporting (SOX compliance). + Support ad hoc reporting and analysis as required. Requirements SEC Reporting Analyst: + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting + CPA designation (or CPA candidate) preferred. + Minimum of 2 years of public accounting experience, preferably with exposure to SEC clients. + Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, SEC reporting requirements, and SOX compliance. + Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with financial reporting software. + Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines. + Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
