Key ResponsibilitiesConduct thorough troubleshooting of electrical systems to ensure efficiency and safety.Install and wire electrical systems on marine vessels to meet precise specifications.Perform temporary service hook-ups and disconnects on Navy DDG vessels.Read and interpret technical blueprints, schematics, and documentation.Install cables, wiring, and other electrical components with the highest attention to detail and quality.Essential QualificationsProven experience in shipyard electrical work, including troubleshooting and installation.Proficiency in performing electrical hook-ups and disconnects.Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.Extensive knowledge of wiring, electrical installations, and marine systems.Additional Skills & CertificationsPossession of OSHA 10 certification is required.Exceptional problem-solving skills and a commitment to safety and precision.Why Join Our Team?Work in an innovative and high-impact environment at .Vigor shipyardBe part of a team committed to excellence, safety, and skill development.Collaborate on state-of-the-art Navy vessels with the opportunity to grow your expertise.Work EnvironmentThis position is based at Vigor shipyard, where you'll work directly on Navy DDG vessels. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $35.00/hr.
