Seasonal Casual - Truck Driver

Are you motivated by getting behind the wheel of one of our iconic trucks to deliver for customers? As one of our Seasonal Casual Truck Drivers based in our Nortgate Transport Facility, you’ll be the face of our trusted business, at the heart of your community and connecting businesses with their customers, and communities during our busiest time of the year. You’ll be on the road as a staple of your community, and it doesn’t get better than that!  


Our valued and trusted seasonal casual Drivers work from October to January on a rotational basis so flexibility is a must. These roles pay competitive rates inclusive of casual loading, 12% super, and over time penalty rates along with a tonnage allowance. This role may lead to a more permanent options business requirements depending. 


We have day and night shifts on offer.
 

You’ll be 


Safely loading/unloading your truck with cages for delivery  Completing your own daily vehicle safety check   Driving our modern trucks between our operational centres and customers, for deliveries and pick-ups  Returning to our operational centres to unload pick-ups  
 

About you


You’re available to work from October, through our peak periodYou hold a relevant HR or HC vehicle license  You’re safety-focused and understand the importance of chain of responsibility  You have a customer-centric mindset and effective communication skills  You’re fit enough to load and unload parcels of all different shapes, sizes and weights  You’re prepared to provide a driving history report, undergo an Australia Post specific pre-employment medical, drug/alcohol screening and national police checks.
