The Opportunity 

Delaware North Gaming is hiring full-time and part-time Room Service Servers to join our team at Southland Casino in West Memphis, Arkansas. As a Room Service Server, you will deliver food and beverage items to guests and be an important part of the guest experience to visitors at the property.

Pay

Please note this is a tipped position, the hourly minimum pay listed doesn’t include any potential tipped earnings.

$10.00 - $11.00 / hour

Responsibilities Answer room service phones and take orders from guests while providing excellent customer serviceAccurately enter orders into point-of-sale system so that kitchen staff can prepare food and bar staff can prepare drinksPrepare foodservice orders and deliver to guests at their room, spa, or pool in a timely mannerServe alcohol beverages responsibly, requests identification, and adheres to all alcohol service policies and proceduresConnect with guests after their order has been delivered to ensure the meal and beverage met their satisfactionMonitor and clear the room hallway for used dishesPerforms opening, closing, cleaning, and side work duties, as assignedEnsures all equipment and workspaces are clean, sanitized, organized, and working properlyQualifications Experience in cash handling and credit card processingBeneficial if you have one year’s experience as a server in a high-volume environment and experience with a point-of-sale system in a service or hospitality environmentNo high school diploma or GED requiredPhysical Requirements Must be able to lift 35 lbs, as well as standing, walking, bending for long periods of time, which may include walking up stairsVisual awareness and hearing sufficient to take orders and prepare checksShift Details
