Job Requirements: This position will report to the Sealing Finance Leader of the Sealing Division of Alkegen. Responsibilities: Qualifications/ Experience: Key Responsibilities: + Financial Management: + Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. + Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting. + Monitor and help manage budgets, and forecasts to support strategic planning. + Accounting Oversight: + Oversee and/or participate in all aspects of the accounting function, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger. + Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency. + Manage the year-end audit process and liaise with external auditors. + Team Leadership: + Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial decision-making and strategic initiatives. + Reporting and Analysis: + Provide analysis and reporting to senior management, assisting in strategic planning and operational efficiency. + Prepare ad hoc financial reports as needed to support business decisions. + Educational Background: + Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is mandatory. + MBA or CPA preferred, indicating advanced financial and strategic expertise. + Professional Experience: + 10+ years of experience in finance/accounting, with at least 5 years in a manufacturing or plant finance role. + Demonstrated success in P&L management and cost control within a plant environment. + Proven track record of partnering with operations teams to drive financial performance and efficiency. + Key Competencies: + Expertise in manufacturing finance processes, such as cost accounting, variance analysis, and inventory management. + Strong ability to analyze plant-level financial performance and provide actionable insights to operations and leadership teams. + Strategic mindset with the capability to develop and manage the plant’s annual budget and financial plans while ensuring alignment with broader corporate goals. + Comfortable rolling up sleeves to address operational challenges, demonstrating a hands-on approach. + Leadership Experience: + Proven ability to lead and develop a finance team within a plant or multi-site manufacturing environment. + Strong communication skills to effectively interface with plant leadership, operations teams, and corporate stakeholders. + Preferred Experience: + Experience with capital investment planning and prioritization within a manufacturing setting. + Exposure to M&A evaluation and integration activities at the plant level. + Familiarity with ERP systems and advanced proficiency in financial reporting and analytics tools. + Salary range: $130,000 - $140,000 If you are interested in being part of a world class finance function here at Alkegen then we would love to hear from you.
