Our work depends on a Requirements Engineer joining our highly skilled team to be a premier provider of cyber security services to the customer.  We provide consummate cyber security risk management “as a service” platform across multiple fabrics and centers.  We have responsibility to ensure operational IT capabilities provide the client with necessary timeliness, accuracy and security of information demanded from all our highly professional roles. HOW SCRUM MASTER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Provide proactive, technical systems integration support to fast-paced operational projects. Benefit from knowledge of software development, systems and enterprise architecture, software engineering, data engineering/management, and general problem-solving skills. In addition to embodying a passion for continuous improvement and innovation, a successful candidate should demonstrate a thorough knowledge of operations and their relevant support.Coordinates and monitors the scrum process from initiation through delivery
Plans and facilitates scrum activities, including sprint planning, daily stand up, demos, board reviews, and retrospectivesAssist the program with assessing, documenting, and tracking program requirementsMaintains JIRA and other information radiators for the teamsCollaborates with clients or end users to understand business requirementsActs as a liaison between development teams and product management, ensuring that appropriate project process is madeIdentify programmatic and technical risks to the program, and work with teams to address and mitigate these risksIdentifies and resolves impediments that slow development or prevent the team from meeting established goals or milestonesMotivates teams to perform and ensures team members are collectively responsible for all aspects of the committed work (analysis, development, testing, documentation, etc.)Provides reports based on team capacity and how the team is preforming against capacity

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other related technical discipline, or equivalent combination of education, technical certifications, training, and work/military experienceRequired Experience: 8+ yrsRequired Technical Skills:Scrum Master CertificationKnowledge of AWS Cloud architecture and servicesKnowledge of Agile/Scrum software development processKnowledge of Jira (or similar) project management toolsDesired Skills:PMP certificationAWS Cloud Practitioner certificationKnowledge of Azure, Google and Oracle cloud service offeringsSecurity Clearance Level: TS/SCI with active polygraphLocation: Bethesda, MD - On Customer Site
