Compensation

Compensation includes a base salary of $87,300.00 - $130,900.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.

Job Description

The Scrum Master has primary responsibility of facilitating the learning and growth of one or more Agile teams in developing a lean-Agile mindset, improving practices and guiding them to more predictable delivery. The Scrum Master plays a role in facilitating Agile ceremonies and planning of releases, removing impediments, providing guidance, and supporting Agile teams.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Backlog Management Practices

Works with Product Owners and team members to learn and practice healthy backlog management and prioritization practicesFacilitates the execution and improvement of backlog refinementPrepares for and facilitates release planning with teamsAssists in dependency management and cross team coordination

Agile Ceremony Facilitation

Facilitates continuous improvement and the development of a learning culture on teamsFacilitates ceremonies, collaboration, communication, and conflict managementTeaches new team members Agile mindset and frameworks, practices, and processInfluences the organization in the removal of organizational impediments and development of healthy Agile practicesMentors Product Owners and team members in agile practices and continuous improvement

Delivery Team Support

WHO YOU ARE

Bachelor’s degree + 2 years relevant experience  2 – 4 years of working experience as a dedicated Scrum MasterWorking experience in one or more of the following Agile methods or frameworks: Scrum, Extreme Programming (XP), or KanbanWorking experience with Agile scaling frameworks, preferably SAFeScrum Master certification or equivalent certified professional  Coaches the lean-Agile mindsetFacilitates backlog management and refinementFacilitates transparency of metrics, impediment removal, collaboration, and coordinationFacilitates continuous improvement
