As a Scrum Master, you will be responsible for facilitating and guiding our cross-functional teams to ensure effective implementation of Scrum practices. You will work closely with team members, product owners, and stakeholders to foster a collaborative and productive environment. Your role will involve removing impediments, coaching team members, and promoting continuous improvement. You will be responsible for ensuring that the team is following the Scrum framework and working collaboratively to deliver high-quality products.

 

You will play a critical role in ensuring that our teams are working collaboratively and delivering high-quality products on time.

 

 

Primary Responsibilities:

Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives). Guide and coach the Scrum team on Scrum practices and principles. Assist the product owner with backlog management and prioritization. Remove impediments and obstacles that hinder the team's progress. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration. Ensure the team adheres to Scrum processes and practices. Monitor and report on team performance and progress. Facilitate communication and collaboration between team members and stakeholders. Support the team in achieving their goals and delivering high-quality products. Creating and maintaining Agile artifacts, including the product backlog, Sprint backlog, and burn-down charts. Collaborating with the Team Lead to prioritize and refine the product backlog and ensure that the team is delivering value to the customer. Monitoring team progress and performance metrics, including velocity, burn-down charts, and quality metrics.

 

Desired Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor's degree/Master’s degree in a technical field such as engineering or computer science Minimum 2 years experience in an embedded software/firmware engineering environment Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach. Proven experience as a SCRUM Master or in a similar role. Deep understanding of Agile principles and practices, with a strong knowledge of the Scrum framework and other Agile frameworks such as Kanban or Lean. Strong leadership, and facilitation skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Experience in facilitating team meetings, including daily Scrum, Sprint planning, Sprint reviews, and Sprint retrospectives, as well as creating and maintaining Agile artifacts such as the product backlog and Sprint backlog. Ability to operate effectively with remote sites – the teams will be in multiple geographies. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – German an advantage Ability to coach and mentor team members. Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills. Flexibility and openness to learn new business processes. Willingness to travel occasionally (Europe/US) Willingness to attend online meetings in early evening (our US team is in PST timezone) SCRUM Master certification (CSM, PSM, or equivalent) is a plus. Experience with Agile tools (JIRA) is desired.
