The Scrum Master role requires an individual who has proficiency within several of the following disciplines: leadership skills, self-motivated, detail oriented, ability to handle multiple teams, ability to problem solve, and deliver successful results. The Scrum Master is the servant leader for the Digital Product Team and will ensure the successful delivery of the product roadmap that is being directed by the Product Director, Product Owner, or Business Line Owner using Agile methodologies that are commonly used in building software. The position serves as the point of contact for all Sprint cycles and will interface with all parties including the business line product owners, technical development team, product team members and third parties (vendors). The Scrum Master needs to possess a robust understanding of the businesses they support, at an industry and market level, allowing them to drive key elements/milestones into a Product Roadmap that will be driven by the Product Director/Product Owner of the Digital Product Team.

This person will,

Lead Digital Product Team on the successful execution and implementation of the SCRUM framework for each Sprint as new features and benefits are prioritized by the Product Director or Product Owner. Promote and advocate a collaborative team environment by coaching and mentoring colleagues while leveraging colleague strengths.

Facilitate sprint(s) cycles through the use of project plans and/or Jira boards to adhere to the “triple constraints”: Time (schedule), Resources (people and financial) and Scope.

Provide leadership and oversight for others as well as individually facilitates detailed project plans/sprint goals to manage and transparently report on progress status on the agreed upon time box or sprint cycle. Ensure timely completion of sprint cycles that vary in scope and level of responsibility while quickly adapting to changing requirements.

Oversee the ongoing review of Sprint(s) status; identifies risks and developments, recommends and implements solutions as appropriate. Ensures alignment to strategic priorities.

Follow prescribed Agile Product methodology which includes, but is not limited to: delivery throughout the end-to-end Product life cycle which includes but is not limited to Requirements gathering, Risk and Issue management, collaboration with Architecture and Design, Testing, Training, Production readiness and Change Management.

Methodically plan, analyze and schedule multiple interrelated tasks and/or initiatives based upon their strategic value, scope, schedule and resource requirements.

Define and oversee required research and analytical tasks to define sprint requirements, achieve sprint goals, coach dev team and product owner on Agile scrum ensuring Agile Product Methodology Events are being followed, and ensure high quality execution.

Requirements
Education

Bachelor's Degree in Business or equivalent combination of education and experience Required


Experience

4-7 years Banking, Business, Software, Agile Scrum or Project Management. Progressive responsibilities, knowledge and exposure to fundamental theories, principles and concepts of Project Management/Agile Methodologies. Required

5-7 years Leading Projects in a Project Management role or as Agile Practitioner; Portfolio and Project Management (PPM) tool and/or Agile Methodology tools including JIRA, KanBan. Required
