Job Description

Support by new product introduction, equipment and process definition, acquisition,
validation, and installation on production environment. Develop instructions and internal
procedures to ensure compliance of changes and modifications required by CN, CoC or
central entities.

Tightening specialist:
• Maintain a clean and highly organized area, and participating in Lean Manufacturing 5S activities
and projects.
• Responsible for ensuring the compliment of standards BOSCH (KFV,VVT,DMD) and the
development of new process standard according with COC experts.
• Responsible for ensuring de SEC standards and review of the new technology’s for the screwing
process
• Responsible to define and follow the changes in the process, machinery, parameters, materials
in the screwing/ tightening process.
• Responsible to support validation of new part number implementations and new lines launches.
• Responsible to train engineers and technicians on screwing and tightening basics as materials
properties, tightening/screwing strategies, and parameters of the process.
• Responsible to define and follow the procedures standard and validation for the Tightening and
screwing process according with the VVt, DMD, KFV.
• Eliminate non-valued added activities.
• Maintain constant communication with CN colleagues to understand changes and new
requirements and communicate them to MFP group.
• Identify gaps, improvement opportunities and vulnerabilities in process and provide training for
engineers and technicians to solve them and implement this trainings and actions in a systematic
way.
• Authority and responsibility to initiate action to prevent nonconformity, identify and record all
problems relating to the screwing and tightening process, safety and quality system, initiate or
recommend solutions, verify the effectiveness of the solutions and control further processing or
delivery of the non conformance until it has been resolved.

Qualifications

EDUCATION: Bachelor´s degree in Mechatronics/Mechanical/Electromachanical.

LANGUAGE: English advanced

SKILLS:
• Ability to work in a team-based environment and a commitment to continuous learning and
improvement.
• Interpretation of technical drawings.
• Knowledge in traceability systems (MES, MIS)
• Deep knowledge on mechanical properties of materials.
• Knowledge in robotics systems and suppliers as (Staubli, Kuka, UR).
• Experience with different technologies of screwdrivers (Atlas copco, Rexroth, Kistler, Ingersoll)
• Deep knowledge statics and dynamic systems.
• Deep Knowledge on mechanicals principles and concepts as rof (μ), pre-charge force, par,
torque.
• Experience with different junction (plastic-metal, plastic-plastic, metal-metal, rubber-metal).
• Deep knowledge in mechanical.
• Knowledge in pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Experience (3-5 years) as screwing and tightening specialist.
• Basic knowledge of vision systems (Keyence, Cognex).
• Deep knowledge in different torque strategies (DTM,ATM,AM, etc).
• Deep knowledge and interpretation of torque graphics and force-deformation graphics.
• Knowledge in Solid works/Autocad.
• Deep Knowledge in parameters of screwing and tightening process.
• Deep knowledge in tightening/screwing process problems and solutions.
• Deep Knowledge in MSA and SPC (Minitab, Solara or similar).
