Screening Support Specialist (Contract)

About the Role
In the opportunity as a Screening Support Specialist, you will

Be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of compliance in support of our customers. You will contribute to a variety of areas including:High-volume screening, research, and disposition work related to risk affecting our customers (financial, legal, reputational, and more)Submitting model feedback to provide consistent performance over timeApplying independent judgment in the identification and escalation of key BSA/AML risksAiding in the creation of document procedures, policies, and processes as necessaryMaintaining thorough documentation of the screening process and resultsAiding in departmental reporting and trackingManage screening cases in a timely and efficient mannerProvide well-written and concise summations of investigation and analysis resultsProfessionally assess and store sensitive information and analyses


About You

You’re a fit for the role of Screening Support Specialist if your background includes:Strong ability to collaborate with a dynamic team and work independently in a production-driven environmentSound judgment that is based on all relevant and documented facts and considerationsAbility to see through gray areas and assess AML-related risksCan recommend improvements to processes in areas of efficiency, control, and work productAbility to determine false positives and true matches with minimal supervisionCan independently use organizational skills to prioritize workload under evolving deadlinesRemains up to date on current legal and regulatory AML/BSA requirementsAbility to obtain and maintain a U.S. national security clearanceExcellent ability to multi-task and prioritize projectsAbility to make decisions with ambiguous information in a timely mannerCertified high school diploma or GEDPreferred Qualifications:Certifications in any of the following or similar: Anti-Money Laundering Specialist Certification (CAMS), Transaction Monitoring Associate (CTMA) Certification, Fraud Examiner (CFE) Certification, Financial Crimes Specialists (CFCS) CertificationOne year of experience in the banking, insurance, accounting, fraud, and/or AML/BSA industriesOne year of investigative techniques experience within financial crimes/riskPublic records content and/or screening experienceBachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Criminal Justice, Fraud Prevention, Finance, or a related fieldAbility to obtain and maintain a U.S. national security clearance.

U.S. Citizenship essential to comply with government contract/agency or department of Federal Government requirements.
