The Quality Control Scientist I is responsible for conducting routine analyses and documentation of In-Process, Finished Product, and Stability samples in the QC Chemistry Laboratory. The role supports internal development and manufacturing operations, ensuring all work is conducted according to established standards. Key responsibilities include performing chemical tests, reviewing results, documenting findings, and adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Safety guidelines.
ResponsibilitiesPerform routine chemical testing of finished products and stability samples using chromatographic methods (e.g., HPLC) and wet chemistry techniques.Conduct validated tests to assess product strength, impurities, identity, and other characteristics.Identify and report out-of-specification or unexpected results promptly.Perform daily instrument calibrations and verifications.Accurately document testing results and report findings in compliance with lab procedures and systems.Prepare test solutions, diluents, and mobile phases.Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure proper maintenance of instruments.Comply with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), GMP, Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), and Safety guidelines.Maintain compliance with company and facility standards.Essential SkillsExperience with wet chemistry and HPLC.Bachelor's degree in physical science (preferably Chemistry) or equivalent education/experience.1-2 years of experience with chromatographic techniques, preferably HPLC.Working knowledge and practical experience with HPLC.Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor's degree in physical science (preferably Chemistry) or equivalent education/experience.Work Environment
Monday to Friday, flexible 6-9am start time. Must work 8 hours per day.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00/hr.
