Your Role: 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Perform laboratory operations such as manual and automated tissue staining, antibody activity evaluation (eg, ELISA, IHC, SDS-PAGE).Develop, write, and update documents pertaining to lab procedures and product manufacturing to maintain cGMP and ISO compliance; write lab reports or project summaries as requested.Contributes ideas and suggestions to improve standard laboratory techniques, improve protocols, processes, and equipment.Ensure all quality requirements and scheduled deadlines are met.Collect, analyze, and interpret data from verification testing to ensure that products meet all specifications.Assist in the development of new assays.Complete all work in compliance with established cGMP, FDA, OSHA, USDA, EPA, ISO and Quality System regulations, as applicable, to assure output meets established quality and regulatory specifications.Assist in developing and transferring manufacturing processes, including instrumentation and training of staff.As requested, participate in the implementation of cGMP and ISO compliance standards and assist with investigations dealing with manufacturing processes.Cleaning of labware as well as general lab cleaning.Maintain inventory of all chemicals and supplies required for manufacturing.Provide equipment maintenance as necessary.Follow regulatory and standard requirements as applicable to the site, i.e., MDSAP, ISO 13485, IVDR, and compliance with the site Quality Manual.This position is located at the Laclede Avenue location. 

 

Who You Are:

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree in Biology, Biotechnology, or other Life Science discipline and 3+ years of laboratory experience.

OR  

Masters Degree in Biology, Biotechnology, or other Life Science discipline and 1+ years of laboratory experience.1+ years of experience working in an ISO or FDA regulated environment.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with histology, manual and automated immunohistochemistry staining of FFPE tissue, immunoassays (eg, ELISA, SDS-PAGE), molecular biology techniques (eg, qPCR, nucleic acid isolation).Strong communication skills.Strong project management skills.
