Job DescriptionResearch Associate responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Supports late-stage cell therapy products by participating in process characterization studies, process development sample testing and analytical assay development.Performs experiments, data processing, and presents results to internal departments and in technical reportsCommunicates scientific findings, provides status updates on assigned tasks in one-on-one discussions and within the project team and department meetingsContributes to the functions of the laboratory including ordering, organization, chemical and equipment monitoring, and maintenanceThe ideal candidate would possess:
Strong experience with mammalian cell cultureExperience with DNA/RNA extractions and assays such as qPCR, ddPCR, or DNA/RNA quantitationHands-on experience with QX ONE and QuantStudio 7 instrumentation preferred but not requiredWorking knowledge of analytical method development and validation in a GMP environmentGood oral and written communication skills and the ability to write and review SOPs, technical reports and scientific papers Ability to interact effectively with peers and managers as part of a multi-disciplinary team and work in a fast-paced environmentQualificationsBachelor’s degree in chemistry, biology, or other related degree concentration2 - 4 years of relevant experience Understanding of GMP requirementsAdditional InformationWhat we offer:
