About The Role
We’re looking to hire a Scientific Marketing Associate for a full-time position at Genedata, Inc.
The responsibilities of this position are to collect and prepare scientific and marketing information for internal and external consumption and present this information in a format that suits the occasion. Along with this comes a range of marketing tasks, from writing text for the website, emails, and social media as well as supporting events.
This full-time position is based at our office in Lexington, MA. Travel may be more than 10% regionally and internationally.
The salary range for this role is $110,000 to $130,000 . This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
Your Responsibilities
We are looking for a new team member to create compelling material that explains how our software supports biopharma R&D. This material includes slide shows, posters, op-eds, case studies, and press releases but also social posts, depending on our sales and marketing needs. You will report to the Head of Corporate Scientific Engagement and collaborate with other internal experts for scientific accuracy and messaging, and you will be responsible for the research, writing, and collateral preparation. You will partner closely with our global marketing and sales teams to execute our marketing plan. This is a hands-on role and in addition to research and collateral production, you will assist with various marketing tasks, including mailout campaigns, website content, and event support.
Skills & Experience
Your role will involve explaining our science and technology in a way that’s easy to understand, accessible to internal and external audiences, and clearly communicates its value. Excellent English skills are essential, and you should also be an experienced writer.
+ MSc or PhD degree in life science
+ Passion for marketing and sales, experience preferred
+ Drive to understand and explain scientific and pharmaceutical research and software
+ Writing and/or editing experience, preferably within natural sciences or software
+ High-level communication skills (native English speaker or equivalent)
+ Self-motivated, driven, able to work independently
+ Team player willing to put in the energy necessary to align across many stakeholders
