As a Scientific Developer Intern, you will have the opportunity to work with PhD-level scientists on an innovative project at the intersection of computational chemistry and drug discovery. This role involves leveraging quantum-mechanical properties of molecules and applying computational tools, including the OpenEye Toolkits and Orion, to tackle challenges in drug design and development.
Key Learnings:
Experience with OpenEye products used in state-of-the-art scientific research. Experience developing in a professional scientific software environment.Experience with the application of quantum mechanics in the context of drug discovery.What you should have (formally MUST HAVES/REQUIREMENTS):
Experience with Python programming.Strong background in computational chemistry or a related field.Good people/communication skills and ability to work as a part of a diverse team.
The following are a PLUS, but not required (preferred skills/experience):
