Scientific Affairs & Education Leader
Design, develop and implement comprehensive professional education strategies that address the evolving needs of healthcare professionals in collaboration with HCC & Legal India Review scientific presentations of HCPs speaking on J&J Products across Regional and National Congress podiums wrt Branding, messaging & internal alignment Strong knowledge of the medical device industry, including understanding of medical terminologies, ophthalmology surgical practices, and industry regulations Build and maintain long term relationships with key opinion leaders, professional associations, and academic institutions to leverage their expertise and drive educational initiatives. Handle medical grievances by promptly acknowledging HCP concerns, gathering detailed clinical data, and engaging with Regional Medical Affairs Team Manage budget allocation and resources for professional education initiatives, ensuring efficient use of company resources. Assess the educational needs of HCPs through a detailed Gap Analysis and align programs and interventions accordingly Oversee the training activities at the designated CoE, ensuring they run smoothly and effectively. Establish strong clinical relationships with Faculty surgeons/ KOLs of CoE to drive the training Agenda Collaborate with the application team to train a pool of refractive surgeons through the designated CoE. Communicate regularly with trainee surgeons on training schedule / Dates and overall program structure Create engaging educational materials including presentations, case studies, guides & Conduct workshops to support training efforts and facilitate knowledge transfer. Raise requests in HCC Live for evaluation and approval of trainings periodically. Maintain signed copies of HCP contracts basis internal HCC approvals Stay up to date with clinical and scientific advancements in the Cataract & Refractive field to ensure that educational programs are current and relevant. To enhance and maintain strong relationship globally with other stakeholders/ Prof Ed partners for imparting education and information transfer to the HCPs. Ensure all logistical aspects of the training are handled efficiently including travel and stay of HCPs as per JJSV Internal compliances. Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Keep abreast with the key messaging of competition in the Cataract and Refractive domain and understand market dynamics. Build reporting discipline and timely submission of reports and training feedback forms Proficient in the use of educational technologies, learning management systems, and virtual meeting platforms. **Qualifications** Education: A Doctor of Medicine (With Specialization in Ophthalmology) . Minimum 5 years of experience 5-10 years of surgical ophthalmology with experience of cataract and refractive surgery. Healthcare industry experience will be an advantage
