Amergis is looking for a School Counselor to join our team in Pender County for the 2025-2026 school year. 

Job Duties include:

Student Support: Provide individual and group counseling to students to address academic, career, and personal/social development. Program Implementation: Develop and implement a comprehensive school counseling program that promotes student success and aligns with the North Carolina Professional School Counseling Standards and the American School Counselor Association (ASCA) National Model Collaboration: Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and administrators to support student achievement and well-being. Advocacy: Advocate for students’ needs and work to remove barriers to learning. Crisis Intervention: Provide crisis intervention and support for students in need. Assessment and Data Use: Use data to assess student needs and evaluate the effectiveness of the counseling program.
