Scheduler II- Production
If you are a self-starter known for your attention to detail and scheduling skills, come join us as a Scheduler! As a Scheduler I, you will learn and assist with developing schedules, material requirements lists and production plans, monitoring production activity to ensure a smooth and controlled flow of materials and monitoring potential scheduling problems. You'll also support documentation of production and material deficiencies and prepare work orders for production or purchase requests based on production schedules. You will also be a part of the advanced production scheduling (APS) team with corporate and IAS and as such be a contributor to the design and enhancements for the APS tool. You will work closely with planning, supply management, manufacturing engineering and the production team to ensure the production schedules are accurate and communicated. The Mission Solutions and Technologies (MST) business area provides affordable, turn-key command/control, communications, integrated ISR, force protection and security solutions worldwide. The MST team has a long legacy of supporting the Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security, commercial and international customers with years of experience in platform operations, engineering and full lifecycle management across domains – air, land, sea, space and cyber. **Responsibilities:** + Key conduit for taking our material requirement plans (un-constrained) and converting them to production plans within Delmia Ortems Advanced Production Scheduling module. + Work with planning, production leadership & supply management to ensure production schedules are communicated and aligned + Work with integrated supply chain & manufacturing engineering to ensure external and internal lead times are accurately reflected in the ERP. + Work with SNC corporate to continue developing APS tool to fit MST scheduling needs. + Identify and communicate schedule constraints (resources, materials) to program management and supply chain + Develop and integrate APS roadmap for all product lines within MST electronic manufacturing. **Qualifications You Must Have:** + Bachelor's Degree a related field and typically 2+ years of relevant experience + Higher-level degree may substitute for relevant experience + Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of required education + Understanding of basic manufacturing/production scheduling techniques + Experience with scheduling software + Fundamental understanding of internal and external lead times + Working knowledge of material requirements planning and bill of materials + **The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required** ​ **Qualifications We Prefer:** + Previous operational flight management experience + Knowledge of both FAA and U.S. Military operational flight governing directives + Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, the US Department of Defense or US Military + APICS certifications + Ortems APS experience SNC offers a generous benefit package, including medical, dental, and vision plans, 401(k) with 150% match up to 6%, life insurance, 3 weeks paid time off, tuition reimbursement, and more (https://www.sncorp.com/careers/total-rewards/) . **IMPORTANT NOTICE:** This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance.
