Nursing Home Scheduler

Bishop Rehabilition and Nursing Center is looking to hire a Scheduler to work at our Skilled Nursing Facility in Syracuse, NY. The ideal candidate will have prior staffing experience.

Must be vaccinated for COVID-19

Staffing Duties:

Creating Work Rotations & Schedules using Staffing SoftwareTracking Open Positions for RecruitmentAnswering Phones & Dealing with CallersManaging timekeeper softwareEnsuring Shifts are Fully StaffedTracking Attendance & LatenessProcessing mail and emailsDatabase ManagementOther duties as assigned

Requirements:

Pleasant disposition and a positive attitudeStrong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook is requiredExcellent oral and written communications skillsExcellent time management & prioritization skills requiredExperience coordinating general office workflow activities such as distribution of departmental mail, answering phonesCollaborative spirit and willingness to learnMust be available to work weekends
