Scale Operator - $20/hr. 

Mon-Fri  Full time hours: 8a-4:30p

Are you a detail-oriented and reliable employee that is able to multi-task in an busy environment.  If so, this job is for you! A well-established company in the Sheldon area is looking for a Scale Operator to join their team.. The ideal candidate would have a basic understanding of office duties, good customer service and phone skills, and would be a reliable team member.

Responsibilities:

Provide excellent customer service, greet and acknowledge every guest. Operate and monitor scale system, ensuring accurate weighing of incoming and outgoing materials. Assist truck drivers with the weighing process, providing clear instructions and exceptional customer service. Record and report scale data, including weights and vehicle details, into the company’s database. Perform general office tasks including data entry, invoicing, filing, and handling correspondence. Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements:

High school diploma, GED or equivalent. Basic office skills required to include Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel as well as multi-line phone operations. Ability to maintain a professional and positive attitude. Good communication skills, telephone etiquette and customer service Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task in a busy environment
