Shift: 1st shift 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM

While reporting directly to the HST Supervisor, the following job description outlines the essential functions of each level of role within the tooling department.  The following lists are not exhaustive, and the employee in each of these roles is expected to assume any and all duties assigned by management irrespective of whether such duties are specifically included in the following. 

What You’ll Be Doing:

Cutting, preparing, and deburring raw materialPlate saw operationRoutine saw maintenance including but not limited to calibration, greasing, blade changes, chip eradication, etc.Extensive material handling with forklifts, vacuum lifts, material transport carts, and other lifting devicesInspection and quality control of work using measuring devicesReceive, verify, and unload raw material deliveriesMaintains a clean, organized, and safe work area.Maintain raw material inventory and coordinate reordering needsTrain other operators or supervisors as neededCreate work instructions or standard operating procedures as needed

You have your High School or equivalent, vocational or journeyman+ preferredYou can read/write and follow verbal and written instructionsYou can read, understand and work from blueprints, sketches, and work ordersYou have fundamental skills as machinist in metal fabrication, tool making, and mold constructionYou have understanding of tolerances and precision measuring You have basic computer experiences with file processing, email, Web navigation, and MS officeYou have a working knowledge of shop math and general hand toolsYou can perform all tasks in a safety-conscious mannerYou can operator industrial truck
