Job Description - Test Manager

Our Test Practice within Operate Cloud Digital and Data is experiencing continuous success and growth. As part of this growth, we are seeking to recruit an experienced Test Manager to work with our team based in Cairo to provide QA leadership for delivery of a number of programmes for internal and external clients.

Skills and Experience - Test Manager

Leading the QA function using primarily Agile methodologies with providing test strategy and overview.

Definition and maintenance of product specific test standards including process and documentation for each programme undertaken

Ownership and accountability of overall test estimation and effort for each project and programme undertaken.

Responsible for resource planning of the testing effort across all disciplines of testing

Working with scrum teams/project team to deliver agile testing capability incorporating Shift left techniques.

Responsible for planning and execution of all test disciplines in scope across large complex end to end solutions.

Definition of automation frameworks covering API, UI and mobile capability

Delivery of the testing reporting framework including real-time status on the overall test effort and providing stakeholder level updates highlighting risk and issues.Documenting test results, ready for compilation into consolidated high-level reports

Essential Criteria - Test Manager

Previous experience of managing the test function within a range of different sectors and technologies including Salesforce, SAP, Guidewire, Dynamics, Workday and Oracle.

Strong experience in delivery test strategies covering all disciplines of testing including functional, system integration, end to end and performance testing

Strong experience in stakeholder management at all levels delivering clear real-time status on test progress, risks and issues

Experience setting up the test function using Azure DevOps, HP QC and JIRA

Flexible, independent and self-motivated with the ability to deliver and adaptable to change

Strong experience in working in Agile testing environments delivering TDD/BDD and automation capability.

Strong oral and written communication skills

Strong experience of iterative/incremental software delivery

Experience of working in fast paced environments to strict deadlines

Bachelor’s Degree or HNC in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field, or equivalent work experience

ISTQB Certification desirable
