These individuals analyse client needs, develop financial solutions, and offer guidance and support to help clients optimise their financial performance, improve decision-making, and achieve their financial goals.As a finance consulting generalist at PwC, you will possess a broad understanding of various aspects of finance consulting. Your work will involve providing comprehensive guidance and support to clients in optimising their financial performance, improving decision-making, and achieving their financial goals. You will be responsible for analysing client needs, developing financial solutions, and offering recommendations tailored to specific business requirements.

You will be joining PwC’s Technology Consulting team where we help our clients define their Finance transformation journey enabled by the latest technology - generating insights to illuminate innovative ideas, creating valuable experiences for customers, achieving huge cost savings or embracing new collaborative mindsets.
About the team, Operate Digital is the central function that creates and runs technology. We also transform the way our clients use technology in delivering assets to our clients across a wide range of business processes. Working with industry leading, alliance partners across architecture, development, and multiple other technologies, we interact with all technology platforms and provide tangible technology delivery at scale.
Qualifications / Certifications required:
Accounting qualification, or qualified by experience
Certification in Sage Intacct is preferred, else the candidate should have sufficient experience in configuring Finance applications (e.g. Sage Intacct, Sage 200, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics etc.)
Experience required:
At least 3 years’ experience in ERP delivery – in configuring Finance applications (e.g. Sage Intacct, Sage 200, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics etc)
Thorough understanding and experience of working with Finance teams to deliver finance system projects
Strong understanding of finance team responsibilities & accountability
Good level of technical accounting knowledge (Chart of Accounts, posting journals, month end reconciliations, management accounts production)
Accounting qualification or qualified by experience
Project management experience
Responsibilities of role:
Delivering on projects focused on finance transformation including Financial Consolidation, Planning, Cost Management and integrated reporting enabled by various finance technologies such as Oracle, OneStream, and Anaplan.
Using our industry leading methodologies to transform client’s businesses.
Contributing to our practice development by supporting asset creation and knowledge sharing amongst the team.
Desirable skill sets include:
Understanding business requirements and translating them into solution design in line with good practice
Working with your delivery team to build and test the solution
Guiding the client through User Acceptance Testing and Cutover
Teamwork and coaching and mentoring your team
Role related attributes:
As a Sage Intacct implementation consultant, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of exciting clients of differing sizes and sectors to help transform their finance function through implementing Sage’s leading cloud finance package. This is a client facing role requiring you to quickly build relationships and help guide the client through their implementation project.
