Job Title: Statistical Programmer

Location: San Diego

The Statistical Programmer is responsible for supporting the development of and validating analysis datasets, tables, figures, and listings according to the statistical analysis plan. Additionally, this role ensures outputs meet quality standards, manages multiple project timelines, and collaborates with Clinical Affairs to align database design with analysis needs. 

What You Can Expect:

Assist in the development and validation of programs for analysis datasets, tables, figures, and listings as per the statistical analysis plan. Ensure outputs meet quality standards and project requirements. Keep project team members informed of programming progress and issues. Collaborate with Clinical Affairs to ensure CRF and database design meets analysis needs. Provide ad-hoc requests and reports to help monitor trial progression. Manage schedules and time constraints across multiple projects, adapting to timeline or priority changes. Gain expertise in current programming techniques and actively learn new methods. Review and approve study-specific documents. Review and provide input on Statistical Programming SOPs and work instructions; recommend continuous process improvement ideas.

What We Expect: 

Open to candidates with at least 1 year of coding or programming experience who are eager to learn and be trained in this role. Working knowledge of SAS; exposure to statistical software packages such as R or Python. Problem-solving mindset. Working knowledge of CRF and database structure, including attribute assignment and logic checking. Working knowledge of basic statistics.
