Primary FunctionA.O. Smith Corporation (Nashville, TN) seeks to hire SAP SD Systems Development Projects Supervisor. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering or related field or its equivalent, two (2) years experience in an SAP lead role working w/cross-functional platforms & teams addressing sales & distribution, logistics, supply chain, finance, & related issues; Proficiency in SAP Sales and Distribution (SAP SD), Proficiency working in waterfall & agile (scrum) development processes.
Responsibilities(i) Lead complex, cross-business, consensus driven & cross-platform projects critical to business success & continuity from start to finish in order to scope, deploy, test, train & measure various computer/business systems & assess their business value (20%) (ii) Develop functional excellence on company business processes & databases (ERP & SAP) through collaboration w/analysts, architects, developers & others to ensure end-to-end process integration & participate in full systems development life cycle (20%) (iii) Provide technical direction to analysts & serve as project lead in analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, maintenance, & enhancement of large-scale, enterprise applications projects (20%) (iv) Utilize continuous improvement skills such as process mapping, A3 development, & value stream mapping to drive for incremental improvements in all processes (20%) (v) Critically evaluating information gathered from multiple sources, breaking high-level requirements into details & distinguish user requests from underlying needs (10%) (vi) Lead our relationship w/3rd party offshore AMS resources, increasing productivity, output and standardized documentation & processes. (10%)
