SAP Middleware AS2 /EDI Consultant
CTG is seeking to fill a SAP Middleware AS2 /EDI Consultant opening for our client in Pittsburgh, PA. Location: Remote Duties: Responsible for supporting and enhancing IT infrastructure and applications for electronic interfaces, facilitating data exchange between systems and third-party solutions including cloud services. Manage and troubleshoot EDI communication errors, including AS2 protocol issues, certificate validation failures, and data mapping discrepancies. Configure and maintain trading partner profiles, ensuring secure settings and communication parameters (AS2, EDI). Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement middleware integration solutions. Act as a trusted advisor, guiding the technological direction for electronic interfaces and system integrations. Design and implement architecture for system integrations and middleware solutions. Contribute to the overall improvement and security of business-critical interfaces and applications. Develop and implement secure data exchange processes using various protocols like AS2, SAP PO, CPI, sFTP, and EDI. Skills: Expertise in AS2 protocol, EDI tools, and secure data exchange. Proficiency in middleware technologies and system integrations. Strong understanding of firewall, proxy, gateway, and encryption technologies necessary for secure interfaces. Experience with SAP Cloud Integration and cloud-based services (AWS, EC2, S3). Problem-solving skills in complex and dynamic environments. Knowledge of modern integration best practices. Ability to manage and maintain trading partner connections and handle related troubleshooting. Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with technical and business teams. Experience: At least 8 years of experience in middleware integration, EDI, and AS2 protocols or a related field. Proven experience in implementing and maintaining AS2 connections and ensuring secure, reliable data exchange between trading partners. Experience in EDI data mapping and translation for internal systems. Previous experience managing cloud services (AWS, EC2, S3) and integrating with third-party solutions. Hands-on experience in SAP Cloud Integration is a plus. Ability to work in complex environments and with ambiguous project requirements. Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, or a Master’s degree in business administration, information technology, or a closely related field. Additional Requirements: Excellent verbal and written English communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with diverse groups. Proven ability to build effective teams and collaborate across various technologies and business functions. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained.
