About the team:

We offer a team-oriented working environment, with the possibility to extend your practical experiences and theoretical knowledge within an international operating team. The intern is encouraged to work on their own initiatives and to bring new ideas to the table.

Our Americas Bid & Proposal Management (BPM) Team is comprised of 20+ professionals working virtually across North America and Latin America. We are a part of the Global SAP Customer Success and Advocacy organization. The BPM team has two hubs to support Latin America, one Spanish speaking and the other Portuguese speaking.

When corporations and government entities are looking to buy a new software solution, they issue an RFP ("request for proposals"). The BPM team is there to guide SAP account executives and presales engineers in preparing the response document(s) to try to win the business for SAP.

The proposal manager must have excellent organizational skills, as well as an attention to detail and ability to collaborate, which they put to use following clear methodologies to produce high quality bid and proposal documents. We have established a proven, efficient process to manage strategic opportunities, from opportunity maturity to proposal development. By integrating sales activities with other business areas, we are able to deliver deal-centric, high-impact customer-facing documents. This helps us differentiate SAP from the competition and positions SAP as the vendor of choice. We support both software license and professional services sales opportunities, working directly with Account Executives and Virtual Account Teams on strategic customer programs and key accounts.
