Knowledge:
Understanding of the Retail industry and the value chain and significance of different functions preferably experience in supply chain and distribution management in Retail sector Candidate will be required to lead the SAP IS-Retail functions for a SAP implementation for a Retail client. This will require activities from business process design to build, test and deploy. Role will require travel to client location for short / extended periods of time. Candidate must be well versed in SAP IS-Retail functions along with integration with related processes such as SAP CAR. Besides, the candidate would be part of the SAP Retail competency and expected to contribute to internal assets and accelerators. Strategy definition, GTM, problem identification, requirement gathering & analysis and solution development across the value chain Selecting right channels for your product or service, and what’s the best way to get into those channels Research based POV development, whitespace identification and positioning CPG/retail offerings & solutions aligned to customer strategic objectives and requirements Prior Experience in consulting/ Corporate Strategy Team/ ecommerce strategy of a Retail Company Business process mapping, experience in working on RFIs/RFPs and preparation of response, use case identification across the E2E Retail Value Chain; KPIs/ Metrics identification across the value chain to develop CXO level dashboards Prior experience in a Consulting firm will be preferred. The candidate should have excellent customer facing capabilities, and an established track record for selling & delivering consulting engagements The individual must be comfortable working at the highest levels of client organizations and interacting closely with the “C – Suite” executives
Key responsibilities
Route to market Consulting (Supply Chain, Sales, Distribution, B2B, E Commerce, customer experience) for Global Retail Clients Formulate the strategy, vision and execution plan for GTM transformation for retail companies, leveraging Digital and technology Business Development and shaping proposal Exposure to Digital/technology projects or experience in technology transformation programs for large enterprise accounts is a plus Additionally, experience of driving technology solutions/product demo to C level stakeholders Experienced in business analysis, requirement gathering and asset mapping for consulting engagements during presales and sales enablement cycles. Experience of project/product management
Professional qualifications
Rich experience in the Retail industry with in-depth industry expertise including the industry/digital/technology trends Demonstrate sustained client relations management experience at a C-suite level or operated at a senior management level in the industry role Experience of 6+ years with Retail company Experience of working in a consulting firm will be preferred MBA from Tier 1/Tier2 University with an excellent academic background
