Job Description
The SAP Functional Support Analyst will provide essential support and expertise to the SAP user community at Heatcraft, focusing on optimizing system usage and supporting the end-to-end lifecycle of SAP functionalities. This role is key to ensuring that SAP processes align with business needs and drive efficiency across operations. Working closely with IT, functional teams, and stakeholders, the SAP Functional Support Analyst will be responsible for troubleshooting, implementing system improvements, and providing training to maximize SAP’s effectiveness.
Functional Support and Problem-Solving:
Serve as the primary contact for SAP-related inquiries and issue resolution across relevant modules (e.g., SD, MM, PP, WM, FI/CO).Analyze and devise solutions for system-related issues, considering system limitations, capacity, and desired business outcomes.Conduct root cause analysis on recurring issues and implement corrective measures to improve system stability.Business Analysis and Requirements Gathering:
Perform in-depth business analysis to understand and document user needs, aligning SAP functionalities with business objectives.Define and document detailed requirements, ensuring alignment with system capabilities and business goals.Validate and assess requirements documented by other team members, ensuring accuracy and feasibility.System Design and Optimization:
Conceptualize, develop, and implement solutions within SAP, enhancing and streamlining system processes.Define input and output file specifications, file organization, and ensure accurate data processing for optimal system performance.Identify opportunities for process improvements, implementing best practices to increase SAP functionality and user satisfaction.Project Management and Collaboration:
Participate in project lifecycles, ensuring successful SAP system updates, enhancements, and module implementations.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive project development and smooth transitions post-implementation.Support project leadership in meeting timelines, budget, and performance expectations for SAP-related projects.User Training and Documentation:
Develop and deliver SAP training sessions to enhance user capabilities and ensure proper system usage.Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including user guides, process flows, and training materials.Define and implement controls, conversion procedures, and system implementation plans, providing user orientation and ongoing support.#LI-RM1

Qualifications• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 4-6 years of experience as an SAP Analyst or in a similar support role, ideally within manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Hands-on experience in SAP modules (e.g., SD, MM, FI/CO, PP) with strong expertise in troubleshooting and optimizing functionality.
• Proficient in business process analysis, project management, and SAP lifecycle management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective user support and cross-functional collaboration.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
• SAP certification in relevant modules.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA and knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile or Waterfall).
