About the Role

Our client, a global leader in enterprise technology solutions, is seeking an experienced SAP Cloud ALM Engineer to support their digital transformation and operational monitoring initiatives. This is a remote opportunity for candidates legally eligible to work within the European Union.

Key Responsibilities

Implement and manage SAP Cloud ALM and/or SAP Solution Manager for technical monitoring and IT operations.

Support integration and connectivity across SAP platforms including S/4HANA, SAP BTP, and SAP CPI.

Lead setup of monitoring tools for performance, log analysis, and user experience (Real User Monitoring, synthetic tests).

Automate rollout of monitoring agents using scripting tools (ABAP, Shell, Python, PowerShell).

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Basis, Security, App teams) to unify operational KPIs and telemetry.

Required Skills & Experience

SAP Technical Operations (5+ years):

Solid experience with SAP NetWeaver, S/4HANA, SAP BTP, SAP CPI, and system integrations (RFC, OData, iFlows).

Application Lifecycle Management:

1+ year hands-on with SAP Cloud ALM or SAP Solution Manager (Tech Monitoring/ITOM).

Cloud & Connectivity:

Familiar with SAP Cloud Connector, SAP Host Agent, SSL/TLS, SAML, OAuth.

Monitoring & Automation:

Comfortable with performance monitoring, tracing, alerting systems.

Basic ABAP plus scripting knowledge (Python, Shell, or PowerShell).
