JOB OVERVIEW:

 

The SAP Ariba Spend Analysis (SA) Deployment Lead’s primary function is to manage simultaneous projects related to SAP Ariba’s Data Enrichment and hosted Spend Analysis service offerings. Typically, these will involve multiple client relationships. The SA Deployment lead will be responsible for informing customers about the deployment process; setting expectations about the customer’s involvement; identifying and planning project scope and parameters; monitoring project progress against an established project timeline; measuring the progress of a project against set goals, timelines, and objectives; providing proactive visibility to the SAP customer team regarding deployment progress; and evaluating project outcomes. The SA Deployment lead will be responsible for planning and coordinating SAP’s resources required to complete a project.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

Develops overall project plan including timeline, scope of work, work breakdown structure and associated deliverables Executes project plan according to established timeline Trains clients on SAP processes and tools Facilitates team interactions to reach consensus Communicates project progress to team at regular intervals Delegates tasks and deliverables to appropriate SAP resources and ensure that these tasks and deliverables are completed according to project timeline Monitors project progress and proactively manage potential timeline/deliverable issues Measures project progress against client expectations and established timeline; assess issues and implement countermeasures. Evaluates and continuously improve SAP’s tools and process All other duties as assigned

 

SPEND ANALYSIS:

 

Manage the SAP Ariba Enrichment and Spend Analysis offerings for customers Oversee data collection process Instruct the client team (Business & IT) on the data schema; define the schema business requirements so it can be mapped to the correct information in the customer’s systems Review the client mapping progress and identify issues and assist in resolution (recommendations / alternatives) Receive client data, validate data internally with the SAP Ariba Data Enrichment Team and review the data summary with the client for final validation with the Data Enrichment Team Oversee the enrichment process with the Data Enrichment Team Manage refresh process iterations Coordinate client instruction and training Assist client in adopting and using the solution Travel – 10%

 

QUALIFICATIONS

 

University degree (business, engineering, computer science or management information systems) 3+ years project management experience 5-7+ years of total experience. Procurement domain is preferred. Strong analytical thinking in both technical and commercial matters Experience with Financial / Operational business systems analysis Strong knowledge of data flows and record layout of core data for ERP Accounts Payable, Purchase Order, Invoice and Purchasing modules Experience with analytics, business intelligence, and/or artificial intelligence is preferred Experience using SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) is preferred Strong computer skills - Microsoft Office / Project / Access / Power Point Strong customer management and presentation skills Ability to communicate with diverse cross-functional teams Excellent organizational and time management skills Methodical approach to problem solving with strong attention to detail

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 105200 - 228300 USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
