Job Description

Requirements recording, concept development and solution implementation of the group reporting system

Technical & Process:

Tailor-made development of business concepts in cooperation with the specialist departmentsCoordinated implementation of these specialist concepts/business concepts in IT conceptsSystem-side implementation of the developed IT concepts (if necessary, with the support of external consultants)Analysis and evaluation of technical and business problems during the reporting processPermanent optimization of processes and application partsIndividual transfer of application know-howCoordination and control of internal and external project employeesSubject-specific cooperation with SAP on system issues (OSS messages; Workshops)Provides technical guidance and support to clients for complex tasks during the implementation, operation and decommissioning of new systems.Joins on request the actions and processes of day-to-day management of the information system in place in all its dimensionsEnsures documentation is in line with the overall technical and process needs

Project & Methodology:

Participation in the project management of large IT projects by coordinating, planning and estimating workpackages Analyzes customer needs, recognizes the critical elements of highly complex application problems, determines innovative solutions, and makes logical recommendations for complex project/ solution development and implementationResearches, acquires knowledge and expertise on system or solution upgrades, and stays up-to-date on the latest technology trends and advancements.Conceptualizes technical design for new functionalities or installation of new technologies.

Quality Assurance & Continuous Improvement:

Ensuring professional group reporting system administration as well as application maintenanceValidation of structural customizing settings (e.g. eliminations; Capital consolidation) taking into account the overall context Master data maintenance in the system after coordination of the order grids with the specialist departments (e.g. organizational changes) Establishes the quality of technical deliverables and conducts work reviews, unit testing and ensuring compliance with coding or work standards and best practices and ensures a common quality understandingDesigns, implements and sustains the quality criteria and quality processes for our IT services.Acts as primary technical expert and be able to recommend appropriate IT solutions or process changes by  ensuring product quality in the assigned area following enterprise- defined risk management policies and procedures and achievement of quality targetsDrives service improvements within own service area and makes service improvement proposals for related service areas

Training, Guidance and Knowledge Transfer:

Securing the transfer of know-how within the framework of international Group Reporting training courses for all user classesConception and preparation of user training courses as well as training documentsImplementation of user training courses (face-to-face events; meetings)

Financial (Budget responsibility/control/etc):

Management of the external consultants involved in the project in the area of group reporting hotline and system administrationBudget planning for the external consultants, ongoing review of cost developments, technical approval of the performance records of the consulting firmsCoordination of the external consultantsInvolved in the Group Reporting project  Responsibility for deployment planningContributes and supports decisions towards administration of cost efficiencies on onshore/offshore project work of the team.Supports policies that help achieve overall budget sufficiency.

Qualifications

Detailed knowledge of the SAP module SAP SEM-BCS; S/4 Group Reporting

SAP BPC/BCS, cFIN / S/4,  BTP know howSAP BW Query Design & SAC

Experience in project management as well as strong communication skills and conflict management skills

Sound IT knowledge of process flows, database architecture, etc.

Detailed knowledge in the SAP modules SAP BW, BTP, SAC

Business knowledge in the field of group accounting (especially consolidation)
