The Sanitation Trainer reports directly to the North America QA Training Manager with dotted line reporting to the Site Sanitation Officer. This position has a tactical focus on the day-to-day implementation and adherence to the site training process. As a Sanitation Trainer, you will provide on the job training instruction and will ensure new team members to their assigned function are provided instruction with themselves or a qualified trainer as outlined in the training process. This role will partner and align with the overall QA training strategy for the organization.
What You’ll Work On
Hands-on training and procedural training ensuring consistencyNew equipment, business conditions, regulatory reform or updated processes/ proceduresDevelop, update, and track on-the-job training for all new sanitation personnel or those assuming new positions within the department.Utilize learning management system (Compliance Wire) to monitor and track the department training activities for Sanitation.Maintain close liaison with QA and Site Sanitation teams, as well as all other areas of the plant including peers or employees at other Abbott sites.Partner with management to ensure the utilization of the most efficient resources, both internal and external, to accomplish the training objectives.Write, issue and update job aids and other training documents as needed by the department.Assist in the development and facilitation of department training in monthly employee meetings.Serve as a resource in the department supported on projects and process/equipment implementation.Complete assessments of operators on Sanitation tasks/processesYou’ll be accountable for meeting our compliance standards including FDA, OSHA and Abbott policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GEDFlexible schedule to meet training needs2+ years manufacturing experience.Previous sanitation experience preferred.Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of applicable regulatory standards and requirements for infant formula and nutritional's.Knowledge of adult learning principlesIn compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire. The base pay for this position is $20.60 – $41.20 per hour. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
