Job Summary:

The Sanitation position is responsible for a variety of responsibilities including cleaning, sanitizing, and rinsing equipment and production areas promptly while following all safety regulations and ensuring all GMP and quality standards are met. You will work onsite in the Council Bluffs location. You will report to the Sanitation Team Leader. Starting Rate is $21.89per hour, attendance incentive of $0.70 per hour.

Job Responsibilities:

Clean, sanitize and inspect production equipment and areas promptlyObtain all necessary tools to clean in place (e.g., chemicals, utensils)Assemble/disassemble equipmentRinse and clean all conveyors, rollers, hoppers, with high pressure hosesClean and rinse drains in assigned areasClean, rinse, and sanitize all tools and utensilsRemove all excess water, grease, and other materialsPerform general housekeeping in accordance to 5sFollow LOTO procedures

Skills Required:

Knowledge of GMP's and plant safetyBe LOTO certifiedUnderstanding of damage/lossKnowledge of 5s principlesKnowledge of chemical awareness MSDS

Qualifications:

Education: High school diploma or GED.

Experience Required: Minimum 3 months production or related experience preferred.
