**Job Title: Sanitation Technician** **Job Description** The primary role of the Sanitation Technician is to clean the plant production equipment and facility to meet food safety, customer quality, and worker safety requirements. The Sanitation Technician configures and operates sanitation machinery and equipment in accordance with established procedures and guidelines. They read and interpret control sheets, technician manuals, and sanitation standard operating procedures to clean and sanitize food contact surfaces. **Responsibilities** + Clean and sanitize plant production equipment and facility to meet food safety, customer quality, and worker safety requirements. + Configure and operate sanitation machinery and equipment according to established procedures and guidelines. + Read and interpret control sheets, technician manuals, and sanitation standard operating procedures. + Perform other duties, responsibilities, and activities as assigned. **Essential Skills** + Experience in food production or sanitation. + Ability to work with hoses and perform cleaning duties, including cleaning under equipment. + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. + Ability to work well with people. + Effective communication skills, with the ability to read and write Basic English. + Basic math skills and the ability to use a calculator. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in production or general labor is preferred. **Why Work Here?** Once contractors complete their hours and get hired, they will receive a $250 bonus at the time of hire. After 90 days of employment, an additional $250 bonus will be awarded.
