Samples Operator - 1st Shift

Job Description:

The Samples Fulfillment Operator is responsible for picking and packaging orders containing various items while maintaining safety standards, quality and order accuracy. This will require an individual who is highly detail oriented as well as has the ability to perform in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Accurate picking, packing, staging and processing of orders for fulfillmentAssemble boxes, wrap pallets and necessary items for shipment of ordersMaintain documentation of pick sheets, scrap material and inventory levelsCheck material against Standard Operating Procedures and design standards for optimal qualityCommunicate job progress, problems, successes and concerns with associates and supervisorsParticipate in cycle counts; drive a forklift or operate a pallet jack as neededReact quickly to fulfill expedited needsRestock, clean and organize warehousePerform other duties as assigned by leadershipKeep work area clean and orderlyPerform job duties safely as outlined in the (insert department name here) Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)Additional duties as assigned by management


Minimum Qualifications:

Ability to become certified in forklift operationAbility to read and write in English to complete required documentationBasic computer skills

Physical Requirements:

Lift up to 75 lbs.Push/pull 100 lbs.Stand on feet for long periods of time during a shift for up to 12 hours, with intermittent breaksWear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided by CambriaParticipate in daily stretch and flex exercisesWork in a non-climate controlled environmentOccasionally work in wet and/or humid conditionsSeparate slabs using a separator tool in both racks and A-framesClimb in and out of a forklift multiple times throughout shiftWalk up and down steps multiple times throughout shiftBend over multiple times throughout shift

Cambria’s starting hourly range for this position is $16.50-18.50. Hourly ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the target for new hires for the position. Individual pay is determined by several factors, including work location, job-related experience, and relevant education and/or training.
