Responsibilities Enter data into databasesFollow SOPs and other applicable laboratory or company proceduresMaintain confidential informationInteract with the community and employeesSupport and participate in other company initiatives as directed by senior managementPerform other duties as assignedResponsible for receiving, processing, maintaining, and return/disposal of samples and reference standards for InotivAssist in the maintenance of the stability program functionsMaintain accurate inventory records of all samples and standards for current projectsDocument receipt/delivery of samples and reference standards according to cGMP, cGLP, cGCP, etc.Responsible for initiation, programming study design, and receiving samples electronically in to Watson (LIMS) system.Oversees sample tracking in Watson.Responsible for interfacing Watson with sample receipt process, which may include sample check-in duties.Responsible for functions associated with the sample handling module within WatsonCommunicate with the Business Development department, Principal Investigators, Clients, and Client Services on a daily basisResponsible for the shipment of hazardous materials via various means of transportation.Good organizational skillsAbility to use a computer to compile and maintain databases for records and inventory utilizing the appropriate softwareAbility to follow written instructions and work with a minimum of supervisionKnow and understand applicable national and state regulations, with the ability to apply these practices dailyWorking knowledge of and ability to adhere HIPAA regulationsGood written and oral communication skillsAbility to adhere regulations and proceduresDOT training for receiving, handling, and shipping hazardous materials Qualifications

A.S. in Business Administration or a related field with 1-2 years of inventory control experience.

OR

B.S. in Biology, a B.S. in a related field

 

Equivalent combination of related education and required work experience will be considered.

 

*This position could be offered at different levels for candidates who qualify with a combination of advanced levels of education and/or years of experience.  The salary range will adjust along with the level of the role to match the person’s relevant experience and/or education level.
