Responsibilities Responsible for day-to-day operations of Salon Reception Desk and retail areas as well as ensuring the Salon is meeting or exceeding budget for retail revenue. Effectively resolves Guest issues or complaints or refers Guest to Managers/Directors as needed. Actively welcomes Guests with a smile and enthusiasm and completes check-in for appointments and services. Trains Salon Reception Colleagues on new standards and procedures. Assists Salon management team with creating Receptionists schedules and bi-weekly payroll. Oversees Salon Receptionists and Hair Assistants. Assists Receptionists with Guest check in/check out by adjusting checks for promotional discounts, and processing comps and refunds. Places and receives weekly Salon retail and supply orders. Monitors data entries and various administrative reporting such as retail reports, contest results, and any other reports as requested. Maintains the inventory to be accurate for all retail and back bar products on hand. Oversees stocking of products to reach necessary par levels. Regularly maintains and restocks the displays, products and services. Assists Salon Managers with scheduling Colleagues for mandatory meetings and trainings. Qualifications Experience: Prefer applicants with a minimum of 3 years of customer service and 1 year supervisory experience within Salon, Spa or Retail Sales environment -OR- Any combination of academic education, professional training or work experience, which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position. Experience with cash handling and computer knowledge required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook. Prefer applicants with typing skills of 30+ w.p.m. Position requires you to exercise dependability and willingness to work with schedule flexibility. Must demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and establish effective working relationships. Must be able to work independently and productively with minimum supervision and be able to manage multiple projects. Certification/License: Must possess a Nevada TAM (Alcohol Awareness) Card. #LI-NB2
