Citibank, N.A. seeks a Salesperson for its New York, NY location. Duties: Gather market information and provide updates to clients, as well as execute transactions, identify client needs, provide, and propose appropriate financial solutions, and identify sales opportunities. Execute multiple products such as sovereign bonds, supra-national bonds, mortgage-backed securities, futures, and interest rate swaps, executing flows efficiently and correctly. Provide salesperson coverage for Japanese clients during New York business hours. Execute clients’ trades, analyze, and update market conditions quickly, and maintain relationships with the clients. Execute trades during the New York session and monitor the market and gather the most recent market information for clients in Japan to conduct market analysis and find investment opportunities. Demonstrate extensive knowledge of macroeconomics, market conditions, financial products, regulations, and the ability to understand client needs. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite in accordance with Citi policies and protocols. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Business, Finance, or a related field, and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in a related finance occupation gathering U.S. financial markets and securities information for Japanese and non-Japanese clients. Two (2) years of experience must include: Pricing and marketing rates trades including Interest Rates Swaps, Overnight Index Swaps, Swaptions, and Cross-Currency Swaps for emerging and developed markets; Pricing and marketing credit products including Cash Bonds, Notes, Credit Default Swaps, Credit Default Swap Index, Repurchase Agreement (Repo), and Commercial Mortgage-Backed Securities Index for emerging and developed markets; Handling trades, client Credit Risk, and other metrics including Pre-Settlement Exposure (PSE), Credit Valuation Adjustment (CVA), and Risk-Weighted Assets (RWA); Negotiating agreements including International Swaps and Derivatives Association (ISDA) Agreements, Credit Support Annex (CSA), Global Master Repurchase Agreement (GMRA), and Contrato Global de Derivativos (CGD); Establishing client relationships with Japanese financial institutions including banks, asset managers, hedge funds, and pension funds, and representing how Japanese investment management industry operates, including its requirements, articulating, and quantifying commercial opportunities; and Communicating the macro-economic environment pertaining to global monetary policy and its impact on various interest rate markets, including the U.S. market. 40 hrs./wk.
