Overview
Capgemini is seeking a skilled and strategic Pre-Sales Architect to join our Salesforce Practice, focusing on the Life Sciences industry with an emphasis on pharmaceutical clients. This hybrid role blends go-to-market solution development, proposal solutioning, and partial delivery across deals sold, helping our clients navigate complex commercial and patient engagement transformation.
Your role
Lead Salesforce solution design and architecture during the pre-sales cycle, working closely with industry teams, delivery leads, and Salesforce account executives.Shape and deliver industry-specific Salesforce solutions that address key business needs in Pharma, such as field force enablement, HCP engagement, patient services, medical affairs, and compliance.
Own the end-to-end solutioning process for proactive proposals, RFPs, and industry pursuits, ensuring technical feasibility, alignment with Salesforce best practices, and innovation.
Partner with Capgemini’s Life Sciences GTM teams to develop accelerators, demos, and points of view that align with industry trends and regulatory demands.
Act as a trusted advisor to prospects and clients, clearly articulating the value of Salesforce solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and Industry-specific offerings like Health Cloud or Veeva integrations.
Engage in billable strategic work post-sale, helping ensure architectural continuity and early project success.
Collaborate with internal teams on Salesforce capability development, training, and knowledge sharing focused on the Life Sciences vertical.
Stay informed on Salesforce releases, pharma industry regulations, digital health trends, and innovations impacting commercial and patient engagement models.
Your skills and experience
8 years of CRM/SaaS experience with at least 5 years of Salesforce solutioning experience, preferably in the Life Sciences or Healthcare sector.
Deep understanding of pharmaceutical commercial operations, including field sales models, omnichannel HCP engagement, and patient experience journeys.
Experience in a pre-sales or solution architect role within a consulting or Salesforce partner organization.
Strong understanding of Salesforce clouds and how they apply to regulated industries.
Exceptional storytelling, proposal writing, and client engagement skills.
Ability to estimate, scope, and present complex Salesforce solutions in both technical and business terms.
Preferred Experience
Salesforce certifications (e.g., Application Architect, Health Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Service Cloud).
Familiarity with Veeva CRM integration, Health Cloud, or pharma-specific engagement models.
Understanding of data privacy and compliance requirements (e.g., HIPAA, GxP, 21 CFR Part 11).
Experience delivering or solutioning Salesforce AI/ML or analytics solutions in pharma or other Life Sciences settings.
Consulting background in a global system integrator (GSI) or boutique Salesforce consultancy.

The base salary range for the tagged location is $142,200-$288,750.This role may be eligible for other compensation including variable compensation, bonus, or commission. Full time regular employees are eligible for paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and any other benefits to eligible employees.Note: No amount of pay is considered to be wages or compensation until such amount is earned, vested, and determinable.
