Key to this role: Should have 10+ Years of Total IT experience out of which 5+ years of salesforce experience.Need an experienced Salesforce Developer who is proficient with Apex, VisualForce, ProcessBuilder, Workflows, and SOQL and have experience delivering Salesforce solutions that leverage APIs and Web Services.
Position Summary:
The Salesforce Developer's primary responsibility is the development, maintenance, and expansion of our client's Salesforce environment. This includes the continued delivery of new applications and features as prioritized by internal business stakeholders. This is a hands-on development role requiring the assessment of current systems and the delivery of new custom solutions adhering to Salesforce best practices and guidelines.
Responsibilities:Develop customized solutions on the Salesforce platformAssess and improve current Salesforce operations to support future growth and expansionEffectively collaborate with project managers, business stakeholders, and other technical resources to design and deliver new features and functionalityEvaluate scope and develop corresponding effort estimates for new projectsProvide administration support and architectural guidance related to customizations, workflows, profile/role management, object/field limitations, etc.Analyze project objectives and application requirements against Salesforce best practicesCollaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure Salesforce meets operational expectations relating to functionality and performanceMaintain a flexible work environment and attitude that adapts to changing prioritiesMentor and delegate to junior resourcesRequired:BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS or related experience5+ years of Salesforce application developmentProficient with Apex, VisualForce, ProcessBuilder, Workflows, and SOQLExperience with Salesforce CommunitiesExperience delivering Salesforce solutions that leverage APIs and Web ServicesUnderstanding of Salesforce governor limits and best practice coding standardsPREFERRED:Salesforce Developer CertificationExperience using Salesforce in Financial Services or similarly regulated industryGeneral experience in the Financial Services industryExperience developing customer-facing user interfacesExperience delivering Salesforce applications using SKUIDUnderstanding of analysis, release management, manual and automated testingExperience developing lightning components a plusAbility to set priorities, and the discipline to execute to those prioritiesExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal; ability to communicate complex technical solutions to management or team members is essentialSelf-motivated and detail-orientedMust have good time management and organizational skills and adhere to deadlinesCollaborative and handles constructive criticismAbility to manage multiple initiatives while meeting scope, schedule, cost and quality requirementsEducation:Bachelor's degree or like experienceExperience:5+ years of engineering and/or SalesforcePhysical Demands/Work Environment Requirements:The ability to work the days and hours required to fulfill the essential functions of the positionThe ability to work long hours and to multitaskMental Demands:Learning, thinking, concentration, creativityThe ability to interact with others, work as a team and exercise self-controlThe ability to work under stressful conditions, particularly in regards to tight deadlinesThe ability to make decisions and exercise discretion when necessary.
