As our Sales Tax Specialist, you'll be at the forefront of managing tax compliance for diverse business clients across multiple jurisdictions. This role offers the perfect blend of analytical thinking, problem-solving, and client communication, making every day both challenging and rewarding.
What You'll DoDrive accurate tax reporting by preparing and analyzing comprehensive sales reports for multiple business clientsManage end-to-end tax filing processes across various jurisdictions, ensuring timely submissions and paymentsHandle a dynamic portfolio of 20-30 clients, processing 200-300 filings monthlyConduct independent research on sales and use tax regulations to ensure complianceCollaborate with filing jurisdictions to resolve complex tax matters, including rates, penalties, and due datesUtilize advanced tax software platforms including OneSource, Rightview Web, ANTS, and Avalara TTRProvide exceptional client service through professional communication and prompt resolution of tax noticesWhat You'll Bring2+ years of sales/use tax compliance experience, with multi-state tax work expertiseAssociate's or Bachelor's degree (Accounting preferred)Strong analytical mindset with exceptional problem-solving abilitiesProven experience in high-volume tax environmentsExcellence in prioritization and managing multiple complex projectsProficiency in tax compliance software and Microsoft Office SuiteWhat Makes You Stand OutExperience with automated tax systems and compliance toolsStrong communication skills and a client-service mindsetAbility to work independently while contributing to team successAttention to detail and commitment to accuracyAdaptability in a fast-paced environmentWhy Join Us?
