Description Our client is in need for a strong Bookkeeper professional, experienced in preparing Monthly Sales Tax returns to help our client get caught up on their books from 2023. This is a great opportunity for someone who has flexible hours to come in and help get them up to date, as this may take at least 3 months or so to process. The client is offering flexible hours for the right candidate, and could be done on a hybrid basis, once trust is built. Responsibilities: • Undertake sales tax projects and ensure all related tasks are completed in a timely manner • Manage a backlog of tasks from 2023 and ensure all pending items are resolved • Perform clean-up procedures on bookkeeping records to maintain accuracy and order • Utilize accounting software systems and MS Excel to manage financial data • Handle monthly sales tax responsibilities and ensure all obligations are met • Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions when necessary.
