Your role and responsibilities

Supporting products mainly marine shaft generators, engine/turbine generators for CN and Asia regionConfiguring the product mechanically and electrically using the available toolsProviding technical and commercial support to LSUs, including sales argumentation (VBS)Preparing comments & deviation acc.to customer specification for target projectsBeing in co-operation with GTS optimizing the design in line with customer specification, and to prepare comments and deviations (including argumentation for deviations taken)Working as a contact window between sales and factory to secure smooth implementation of target projectsManaging administrative procedures in sales processes. Continuously contributing to optimize the relevant products/processesBeing together with LSU analyze ABBs competitive situation, define “strategy to win” and quote generators accordingly

Qualifications for the role

Bachelor’s or master degree in electrical or mechanical engineeringExperience in electrical machine design is preferredExperience in synchronous generator is a plusExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to develop and manage effective working relationships at all levelsEnthusiastic, innovative and able to changeAbility to work globally within different cultures Fluent English, both written and spoken
