We are currently offering an exciting opportunity for full-time permanent Sales Support Merchandise & Fertiliser to join our Cootamundra branch to help drive instore sales of our agricultural merchandise products.
A typical day may look like:
Reporting to the Branch Manager you will focus on developing strong customer relationships. Our customer base is broad and can include local farmers, primary producers and trade customers and the focus of your role is to provide a memorable experience for all customers either in store or over the telephone whilst:
Performing general administrative tasks including stock control, ordering, receipting, and dispatching of goods Willing to assist clients with all day-to-day queries Processing all fertiliser sales Maintaining safety processes Maintaining a welcoming, friendly, and well-presented store environment Weigh bridge duties Accounts payable for freight and fertiliser
What we’ll love about you:
To be successful in this role you will have previous experience in a team support role in a busy environment. You’ll have a passion for Australian farming and agriculture, ideally with knowledge of animal health and rural merchandise. In addition, you will demonstrate:
Excellent attention to detail Experience working within a sales environment Effective verbal communications & interpersonal skills to build solid long-term customer relationships A proactive approach to work and practical organisation skills Problem solving skills and empathy to resolve customer issues promptly Ability to identify ways to improve internal sales processes Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook A current driver’s license is essential, a forklift ticket is highly advantageous or you must be willing to obtain HR truck license is desirable however not required A committed team member
