Sales Support & Commercial Eng Mgr

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the assigned Sales organization division and market during the proposal process. Each day, you will serve as a key technical resource in the assigned area. You will also showcase your expertise by preparing technical descriptions of the products and technology, determining costs, and preparing final documentation.The work model for the role is: #LI - HybridThis role is contributing to the Motion System Drives Division in the New Berlin, WI area.You will be mainly accountable for:•\tSupport the local Sales organization in determining the most technically appropriate and cost-effective solutions and in the preparation of customized offers.•\tCreate industrial custom quotes for System Drives projects including onshore and offshore wind turbine systems product and services, with high quality and on timely manner and prepare and actively support with the spare part quotations.•\tDefine cost for the proposed solution and communicate to Sales organization.• Provide technical support during the technical meetings with other organization or customers.Our team dynamicsYou will join a dynamic, talented, and high performing team, where you will be able to thrive.

Qualifications for the role

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 10+ years’ experience of Low Voltage Drives or Medium Voltage Drives required.Excellent technical communication skills.Experience in the drives business is beneficial for success in this role. Knowledge of SAP/BOL/CQP and Salesforce is beneficial.Travel up to 20% required.Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
